Hi and welcome to my little corner of the internet!
I'm the Momma, and I love wine, chocolate, pizza. And, of course, the occasional cocktail. My name is Jenn and I'm (still) adjusting to my life as a stay-at-home-mom to Boo and Princess Pea. A bit about me:
- 40-something Late-in-life mom and doing my best to keep up and not fall apart (physically).
- Loves me my purses, and shoes...oh, shoes...and my lipstick and under-eye concealer. Never leave the house without undereye concealer, folks!
- Shy and reserved in person, you wouldn't know how witty I am. At least I think I'm witty. Like my Dad thinks he's witty. Hmmm.
- Loves books. Wish I had more time in the day to read. Someday...
- Wanted to be a children's book illustrator
- Believes there is no such thing as too much laughter. Or garlic. Or glitter.
When I'm not chasing crazed primary schoolers, kissing boo-boos, fixing toys, sprinkling glitter (and who doesn't love glitter) and scrubbing pen marks of of doll faces, I'm trying keep my life ordered, keep my head together and enjoy my kids while they still think I'm cool!
Now, meet the family:
Princess Pea
Loves glitter, nail polish, shoes and purses. LURVES anything princess related. Flirts with 5-8 year olds. Can change moods at the drop of a hat.
Boo
Wants to be a Rock Star when he grows up. When he isn't rockin' it out onstage, he is fascinated with trains and construction trucks (he can identify all construction trucks by sight). Sensitive soul. Loves to torture and correct Pea.
The Hubs
My darlin' man, awesome daddy. Often mistaken for Simon Cowell when travelling. Can turn "Salesman" voice on and off without realizing it. Provided fussy and need-for-organization genes to Pea, frankendoo genes to Boo.
