If you've been wondering why there haven't been any updates lately, you can blame it on my daughter.
You see, my life revolves around wee.
If you see me on the street, I likely look stressed (hoping my daughter doesn't wee on your shoes. Or in my car.) My friends give me potty training advice.
I post about wee on Facebook, desperate for advice.
I even Tweet about it.
Its pitiful, really.
If I were posting, I'd be ranting.
About wee, or the lack thereof actually making it to the toilet.
(By my daughter, not me. Me, I'm doing just fine, standing with her for hours in the bathroom, water running, running...and me running to the other bathroom, so that I can use the toilet, as all that running water just kills my baby-battered, weakened mommy-bladder.)
So in an effort to not completely lose all my followers, I've not been posting.
Its just too pathetic.

Happy Belated Birthday - my blog is 1 year old!
Shameful, just shameful (hanging my head). My little babe, my blog, turned a year old on May 22 - and I missed it!
I can hardly believe that I've been blogging for a year, but oh, what a fun year its been, and how many changes? Pea no longer has a baby face (or a binkie). Boo has sprouted 4 inches, I swear. They are 10x more adorable, 20x more frustrating, and I love it all.
The following year shows a whole lot of changes yet to come, with moving to Wales, Hubs starting a new job, Pea and Boo in new schools, and my adjusting to, well, everything (and keeping a happy, positive face in light of my desperate fear of change and starting over again). I'm told that as long as I buy in (no problem) and keep a positive face (oh, crapola), the kids will do great.
I'm so screwed.
But I have found that by the simple act of putting the daily dramas of my life down on paper, er, into the blogosphere, I can poke fun at myself and the situation, and it makes it all easier to cope with when I'm overwhelmed and frustrated.
So thanks for being here, and I hope you hang out with me for another year of fun and frustration!

Awkward Family Photos
Many thanks goes to Jenna McCarthy for the link to one of the most hilarious blogs I've read lately (well, at least today), which makes tribute to that painful tradition, the awkward family photo.
Oh, you know you have at least one photo like this in your collection. If you are lucky, your mom is still not displaying it in the den, next to her collection of Precious Moments and your old high school awards.
So go pee, get comfortable, and click on Awkward Family Photos. I guarantee you'll laugh until you cry. Or until you pee (if you didn't take my advice and make a potty run). If you don't find it hilarious, well, I'm guessing you have one of the photos on your wall, and you actually think you look good in it.
In which case, well, let me know, so I can make my own submission to the Awkward Family Photo blog!
Then come back here, so you can find the link to Jenna McCarthy's blog here. She's hilarious. Trust me!
