Big Trucks

A busy weekend for us, indeed - Saturday we went to one of our favorite an
nual events - "Big Trucks". Ah, a toddlers dream - to sit in the drivers seat of a firetruck, dump truck, garbage truck, street sweeper, etc.

This year's event seemed to have less vehicles than usual, but it didn't bother Sam in the least. He had a great time!

Its always a fun event! In addition to the Big Trucks (minus a fire engine this year - they arrived late, and then had to leave 15 minutes later to respond to a call), they had a fun band and an inflatable firetruck slide. When Maddie tired of the trucks (Sam was on round 2 of the Garbage truck), we danced to the band while we waited for the slide.
















She was showing off her stuff, and found a fellow dancer in line behind us!




The inflatable firetruck slide was a lot slicker than we realized. Partway down, Maddie slid sideways and bounced off of the walls. Once was more than enough for her!
