One recent afternoon, they showed up with a new set of bowls (the game, they weren't getting ready to bake) - while one brother played football with Boo, the other played bowls with the Hubs. After a bit, they would switch off.
The back garden had some groupings of trees in the middle of the yard. Of course, this adds to the challenge of playing football (or "footie", as the lads call it) as they make a run around the trees before attempting a goal.
Always a treat to see the backyard full of kids playing! (Big kids and little..)
Of course, Pea isn't interested in playing "footie". She is much more interested in flowers and leaves. (And I assure you, she did NOT pick the plant bare on one side, it was like that when we arrived. I cannot guarantee that she will not hand prune the remaining half of the plant, however.)
