A Valentine's Celebration!

Sam had his Valentine's Party at school today. First, they played some bingo, using Sweetheart Candy as the markers. (I'm impressed that none were eaten - really!) I'm more impressed that Sam was totally cool with not winning.

Then, they had a yummy treat! (Yes, let's just get them really sugared up before lunch....)

Their teacher read them some special stories, too. Finally, they sang some songs for us. Aren't they all great!!!!!

Maddie had a party that day, too - hers was much simpler - just a tasty snack and a fun story. But she sure looks happy to be there, doesn't she???

Such simple delights. I wish they could hold onto them forever.
