Happy Halloween!

Just a few pics of my happy little witch and my brave fireman (whose helmet "pulled at his hair").

I do believe Maddie was more excited about the costume than the actual trick-or-treating. She put it on as soon as she woke up (hat and all) and wore it all day - to her Superkids class at the fitness center, to Sam's Halloween - er make that "Harvest" Party (Christian preschool, no heathen parties allowed) and even napped in it. *

Watching the kids try to pick out candy from the proffered bowls was hilarious, considering my kids do not eat candy bars, so aside from the bags of M&Ms and occasional Smarties and Tootsie Pops, they had no idea what any of the stuff was. After long, painful (for mommy) deliberation, Sam would make his selection.

And then turn around, hold it up for inspection, and ask "Mommy, is THIS good for me?"

Uh. Um. Well. Kind of. In teeny amounts.

Guess I need to thank his teachers for the lesson on Healthy Foods - on Halloween day.
