However, our most recent visit to the St. Louis area for her cousin Julia's birthday was the ultimate dress up weekend. She and Julia clopped around in princess shoes and princess dresses for a good part of the weekend. They play so well together!
Of course, when Sophia took a break from playing with Sam (as they play so well together), she donned some princess clothes and joined in. Aren't they darling:

Thankfully, my brother-in-law, Bob, has a great sense of humor and no hang-ups about letting Max join in the fun.
Although, I think I will make him his own tutu, in John Deere colors.
